I bought this product with the intention of riding my bike to farmers' markets. It seemed like an innovative product and the reviews on Amazon seemed good with the exception of a few people who claimed it was flimsy. So, I picked one up from REI since they have lifetime guarantee. The first one I got had a broken cargo net hook/tab and missing support clip so I had to bring it back and get another one. It seemed to be an ok trolley for wheeling around. That's about the only good thing I can say about it. The first major failure of this product is that it doesn't fit on the back of my bike. My saddle position (which seems like a reasonable one) interferes with the crate to the point where it can't slide all the way forward and lock into the Topeak mount. On my wife's bike, it barely fits, but the saddle kind of pushes against the crate so that it bends it a little. Then I discovered that you cannot collapse the crate and put it on the bike because the handle extends far enough to run into the saddle so that feature is almost useless. The last complaint I have is that when the telescoping handle is in the collapsed position, it doesn't lock into place so if you try to pick up the crate by the handle, the crate will drop and crush your foot if you're not quick to react. In the end, I decided to return this. It's almost as if they designed this as a trolley, but never tested it on actual bikes. I give this product a major FAIL.
